AMC strives to provide high quality care for our patients, visitors, employees, and community. In response to the increase in the COVID-19 cases in our community, we have updated our restricted visitor policy effective August 13, 2021.
Our visitation policy, while following CDC guidelines related to COVID are:
NON-COVID Patients:
- ED– No visitors.
- Inpatients– 1 unique asymptomatic visitor.
- Labor & Delivery– 1 unique spouse/significant other
- Observation Obstetrics– No visitors.
- Pediatric Patients– 2 asymptomatic parent/guardians per pacient (can trade out).
- ICU– 1 unique asymptomatic visitor during ICU visitation hours.
- Surgery -1 unique asymptomatic visitor.
- Parents with cognitive, physical or mobility impairments– 1 unique asymptomatic
visitor. - Physician’s Offices– Please contact your physician/provider for specific instructions on
visitors
COVID-19 + Parents- No Visitors, except end of life circumstances, must be approved.
- Exceptions: Pediatric Parents- 2 asymptomatic parent/guardians. Parents with
cognitive, physical or mobility impairments- 1 unique asymptomatic visitor.
* Unique visitor means the visitor cannot be changed/ rotated/ substituted for duraton of parent’s stay & MUST BE ASYMPTOMATIC*
* Visitation hours are between the hours of 6am-9pm. If for any reason visitor leaves facility after 9pm, visitor must sign in, and be escorted to patient room by security.
*ICU Visitation hours are 10:00am-10:30am, 1:00pm-1:30pm, 5:00pm-5:30pm, 8:00pm-8:30pm
*Children under the age of 12 are NOT allowed for visitation
*Clergy IS ALLOWED per patient/family request*
* Visitors must be asymptomatic and wear a mask at all time. There will be subjective symptom screening daily in room, or at screening station upon re-entry. To conserve supplies, visitors are to bring a mask from home.
*Visitors may or may not be able to wait in waiting areas due to social distancing limitations and should leave phone to be contacted if waiting in car.

REMEMEBER: Con6nue to practice good hygiene. Stay Safe, wear mask (including those that are vaccinated), avoid touching your face, wash your hands, practice social distancing, and stay home when you feel sick.
