LOUISIANA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION APPOINTS SCOTT SMITH TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Hospital Association recently appointed Scott Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Regional Medical Center/Acadian Medical Center and Louisiana Market CEO, to a two-year term as the Southwest District Trustee. The Board of Trustees is the highest policy-making body of the LHA with authority for the governance and management of its direction.

“The LHA congratulates Scott and thanks him for helping to improve the health of Louisiana,” said LHA President & CEO Paul Salles. “His guidance and leadership will help Louisiana hospitals continue improving quality and value in communities throughout our state.”
