If you do have a concern or complaint, please do not hesitate to call our Patient Representative at 337-580-7825. We will review the grievance procedure with the patient or his/her representative family member and communicate in writing all results within 7 days via certified mail. Patients can freely voice complaints and recommend changes without being subject to coercion, discrimination, reprisal, or unreasonable interruption of care, treatment and services. If a complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction by the hospital grievance process, you may also file a complaint with the State Agency of the Department of Health & Hospitals, Health Standard Division at Post Office Box 3767, Baton Rouge, LA 70821-3767 or by calling at 1-866-280-7737. The patient also has the right to file a concern or complaint directly to JCAHO at 1-800-994-6610 or email to complaint@jcaho.org if the grievance is not resolved through the hospital.
